While Mass is still being celebrated every Sunday at 11.00am
and on Monday and Tuesday’s at 09.15am I do appreciate that you may find it
difficult or unsettling to attend a gathering at Mass at the moment. Please be
assured that, when we meet as a parish, all of you are remembered in our
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all for your
continuing generosity in these strange and difficult times, without which we
could neither maintain our parish life and parish family with the worship of
Christ in the way we do now. I am very aware of the straightened times in which
we live, and I marvel at the kindness of all of you who continue to help me in the vital work of upkeeping our parish.
As, with yourselves, the bills for the parish do keep
These bills are normally met by your generosity of your
donations to the weekly offerings.
You will understand that, in these strange times, the
offertory collections are much reduced.
While you may not feel able at the moment to attend Mass I
am asking that you consider how you could continue to support the parish
financially for the good of the future of the parish.
