Prayers when we can't attend Mass 2

        If possible ......

·         Create a quiet prayer space

·         Create a prayer time

·         Read the Mass readings

·         If possible, watch, or listen or stream a live Mass

·         Pray an Act of Spiritual Sacrament

AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION

My Jesus, I believe that You

are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.

I love You above all things,

and I desire to receive You into my soul.

Since I cannot at this moment to receive You sacramentally,

come at least spiritually into my heart.

I embrace You as if You were already there 

and unite myself wholly to You.

Never permit me to be separated from You.

AMEN.

AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL SACRAMENT

My Jesus, I believe that you are in the Blessed Sacrament.

I love you above all things, and I long for you in my soul.

Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, 

come at least spiritually into my heart.

As though you have already come, I embrace you

and unite myself entirely to you.

Never permit me to be separated from you.
