Good afternoon to you all,

A bit of a chiller week this week, although it is lovely to have the brighter nights!

This week we have been asked by Trussell, to issue this urgent appeal below and ask as many as possible to send your views to the local MP's. Whilst we have seen a small number trying to abuse the system, we are also aware of many genuine people that are reliant on these payments. Things do need to change!

Whilst we all believe that the current system is broken and that we need a fair system, we also do need a review and ensure we get the help to those in genuine need. We need an appropriate method to do this.

We have our new signs being installed, with our new Warehouse sign being installed today, all looking better for the refresh. 

Our teams have continued to work hard this week sorting donations, making parcels, delivering them and passing them out at our centres. Our dedicated teams work so hard week in week out, and we are so grateful for their dedication and support.

Demands at our warehouse and centres remain busy this week, even our quieter centres seeing a big demand. We continue to be short of some of the essential items required to make up a balanced food parcel. Specifically this week these items include:
Spreads Jams, Marmite, Peanut Butter etc
Desserts, (custard, Rice Pudding, Jelly's, Sponge Puddings etc)
Mens Toiletries
Tinned Meats (Stew, Curry Spaghetti Bolognese etc) 
Cooking Sauces
